New Officers

The Lancaster City Bureau of Police welcomes three new officers. Officers Austin Krause, Christopher Kophamel, and Timothy Sinnott were sworn in by Mayor Richard Gray during a ceremony at City Hall earlier today.

 KRAUSE

Officer Krause is a graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School. He has been employed by the Lancaster City Police as a Community Service Aid since Jan. 2011. Off. Krause currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserves as an MP. He will attend the Municipal Police Academy in Reading.

KOPHAMEL 

Officer Kophamel is originally from New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He has served as a Baltimore City police officer for the past 2 ½ years. Off. Kophamel will be assigned to the patrol division.

 SINNOTT

Officer Sinnott is a graduate of Cocalico High School. He obtained a degree in Criminology from Coker College, where he played on the school baseball team. He is a recent graduate of the Municipal Police Academy in Reading. Off. Sinnott will be assigned to the patrol division.
