RETAIL THEFT

825 E CHESTNUT ST

OCCURRED 10/05/15 2:26PM

A juvenile was cited with Retail Theft after he was observed by store employee on CCTV removing 5 cans of energy drinks and placing the items into a backpack he was carrying.  Juvenile then passed all points of sale and exited the store without paying for the concealed drinks. 

 

600 BLK POPLAR ST

OCCURRED 10/05/15 7:25AM – 1:45PM

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry through the 1st floor kitchen window and stole 2 black dress watches, 1 electronic toy bank and money that was in the bank.  

 

400 BLK W CHESTNUT ST

OCCURRED 10/05/15 12:50PM

Victim (female, 80’s) was walking in the 400 block of W. Chestnut St. when  a black male wearing dark clothing with a hood over his head grabbed her beige colored leather purse. Victim was seen being dragged by the suspect by several witnesses who chased the suspect away. Suspect was last seen fleeing the area without the purse. Victim was not injured. 

 

BURGLARY

200 BLK W LEMON ST

OCCURRED 10/6/2015 1020 HRS

Unknown suspect(s) entered location two times within a two week period the first time taking tools and the second time taking the victim’s purse and contents. 

 

RETAIL THEFT / RITE-AID PHARMACY

59 N QUEEN ST

OCCURRED 10/06/15 1439 HRS

Bradley S. Weidman, 28, of the 900 block E King Street, Lancaster PA was observed concealing a 20 oz bottle of Pepsi inside his jacket and attempting to exit the store without paying for said item. Weidman was arrested and charged with retail theft.

 

RETAIL THEFT / VICTORIA’S SECRET

327 PARK CITY CENTER

OCCURRED 10/06/15 BETWEEN 1230 AND 1330 HRS

Unknown suspects entered the store and stole assorted colors and sizes No Show and Dream Angels women’s panties that were displayed on a round table 35 feet from the mall exit. Suspects believed to be two Hispanic males between the ages of 25 to 30 years of age, both appeared to be appx. 5’8" and weighing approximately 155 lbs.

 

VCS POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

400 BLK E STRAWBERRY ST

OCCURRED 10/06/2015 2201 HRS

Ismael Feliz Rosario, 20, of the 1st block Ruby St , Lancaster PA was at location and found to be under the influence.  Rosario was arrested and charged with possession of small amount of marijuana, possession of synthetic marijuana, and public drunkenness.

 

 

SHOTS FIRED

1ST BLK W JAMES ST

OCCURRED 10/07/15 0040 HRS

Unknown suspect fired shots at location.  Officers recovered several shell casings at the scene. Nothing appeared to have been struck. A dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the area. 

 

FALSE IMPRISONMENT

1st blk. S. Duke St.

6 Oct. 15, 1638 hrs.

Male subject came up behind a father and his 7-year-old son who were walking in the 1st block of S. Duke St. and grabbed the boy and started carrying him away. The father chased after the suspect approx. 15 feet, and the suspect released the child. Suspect stopped by police in 100 blk. E. King St. and identified as William Lopez, 60-year-old male, resident of 100 E. King St., Lancaster. Lopez was arrested and charged with False Imprisonment. The child was not injured. 

ROBBERY

700 blk Rockland St

1:28 PM, Oct 6, 2015

50-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown B/M/20-25, approx. 5’6” tall, 150 lbs, wearing a light blue zippered hoodie and jeans. The suspect pointed a silver colored revolver at the victim and went through his pockets. The suspect stole the victim’s .380 black and silver handgun plus an unknown amount of cash, and then struck the victim on the head with the silver revolver. Suspect fled on foot. Victim taken to hospital for treatment of head injury.
