At about 5:03 AM on June 15th 2013, officers of the Lancaster City Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W King Street for a vehicle collision. Upon their arrival officers determined that a 2003 GMC Envoy had struck several parked vehicles on the 500 block of W King Street while travelling east bound on W King Street. The vehicle then overturned and struck several residences on the 400 block of W King Street.
At the time of the collision the vehicle was being driven by Marilyn Molina. Richard Duran and David Felix were passengers inside the vehicle. After impact, Richard Duran was ejected from the vehicle. All occupants were treated for accident related injuries at a local hospital. Richard Duran sustained traumatic injuries and remains hospitalized.
Preliminary evidence at the scene suggests that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the collision.
