8.7.14 Bank Robbery Suspect from 100 E. King St. identified
BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT FROM 100 BLK. E. KING ST. IDENTIFIED
On Wednesday August 6, 2014 at approximately 4:37 pm the Santander Bank located at 100 E. King St. was robbed by an unknown male. The male passed a note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of loot.
Through follow-up investigation, the suspect has been positively identified as Frank David Hernandez. Hernandez has been charged with (1) Count Robbery before MDJ Ballentine. Det. DePatto has obtained a Warrant for Hernandez. The quick identification of Hernandez is due in large part to the response from the public once the surveillance photos were released to the radio, television, print news and shared through social media.
Hernandez has no fixed address and is believed to be homeless. If Hernandez is seen, do not approach him. Please contact Police Dispatch at (717) 664-1180 or 911.
