At 2:45 p.m. Aug. 20, 2015, Lancaster City Police C Platoon officers responded to the area of the 500 blk. of S. Christian St. for a report of a fight involving weapons. Witnesses reported seeing a male subject with a handgun getting into a blue Chevrolet Cobalt and leaving the area.
1:21 pm, 8/19/15 Lancaster City Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 blk of Columbia Ave. Officers located a male victim who had been shot one time in the upper torso. The victim was transported to the hospital. initial suspect descriptions are as follows:
Shortly after 2:20 am, Sunday morning, August 16th officers responded to the area of Molly’s Pub, located at 253 E. Chestnut St. (Shippen & Chestnut Sts) for a report of a shooting. Upon arriving, officers quickly determined that the shooting had actually taken place in the 100 Blk N.
Lancaster City Police arrested and charged the 45th person this year with a firearms related offense.
