On  Saturday June 22,  2013, Officers from the Lancaster Bureau of Police were working at the Clipper Magazine Stadium at the request of the LeSean McCoy Foundation and Clipper Stadium staff for the 2nd Annual LeSean McCoy Charity Softball Game.

At approximately 8:20 pm, an Officer was made aware of a male who was creating a disturbance in the area of the right field seats. This subject was later identified as Matthew KORESKO. Matthew KORESKO was advised by this Officer to discontinue his actions and he then began swearing at the Officer and others in the crowd. Matthew KORESKO was advised by the Officer that he needed to leave and he walked up to steps to the concourse but stopped there. Additional Officers had been made aware of Matthew KORESKO’S actions and were in the area to assist. KORESKO was again advised he needed to leave but he refused. Matthew KORESKO was then placed under arrest.

Other people in the crowd began cheering when they observed Matthew KORESKO being arrested. Matthew KORESKO’S brother, Jonathan KORESKO took offense at this and began a verbal confrontation with members of the crowd. Jonathan KORESKO then became involved in a physical confrontation with Zachary KEENE. Both Jonathan KORESKO and KEENE were in physical contact with each other.

Deanna SHUDY was in attendance at the game with a group which included KEENE. When Jonathan KORESKO and KEENE were involved in a physical confrontation, SHUDY joined the affray and struck Jonathan KORESKO, at least one time, on his head with her cellular phone. This action caused a laceration to Jonathan KORESKO’S head.

Officers detained the three males involved. Matthew KORESKO and Zachary KEENE were cited with Disorderly Conduct and released at the scene. Jonathan KORESKO was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment of his laceration was released at the hospital. Jonathan KORESKO was cited with Disorderly Conduct as well. His citation was filed, not issued.

SHUDY was identified at the scene and is being charged with Simple Assault (M3) following additional investigation. SHUDY will be charged on a Summons. All of the charges are before MDJ Roth.
